Solarspot®

Solarspot® tubular skylights are highly reflective guides that transport natural light into all closed rooms of buildings, even over great distances, sometimes even creating extremely complex paths.

Components

Dome

Manufactured with a specific acrylic formula, the dome has been designed to capture the highest quantity of natural light, to filter as much as possible UV and IR rays, without yellowing.

RIR®

Interactive optical device that works, contemporaneously, by refraction and reflection. Thanks to the RIR®, Solarspot® operates in every sky conditions and outside illuminance; the RIR® collect the light received by the dome, in order to redirect it inside the reflective tube.

Convas®

Multifunctional component, placed under the dome.

Reflective Ducts

Manufactured at Solarspot® International s.r.l premises, they are made up in Vegalux2™ (aluminium alloy with a special surface traitment). To departure and arrival ducts of every Solarspot® kit , it’s possible to add:

Extension Tubes

Available in several standard dimensions:
20cm - 30cm - 40cm - 60cm - 120cm.

Angle Adapters

Available in several angles 0-30°,0-60°,0-90° to realize a wide range of configurations, horizontal, vertical and sloping paths.

Diffuser

It has been designed to be easily and nicely integrated in the false ceiling and to diffuse homogeneously the daylight in the spaces to be lit. Available several finishings: square, round with decor ring or, for a minimal design, round “lamp” type.

Integrated design from concept to completion.

We work closely with architects and M&E consultants from the early design stage to ensure seamless integration of Solarspot® into the building.

This includes coordinaƟon on roof layout, ceiling design, structural considerations, and M&E services to optimise daylight distribution while avoiding clashes
with ducts, beams, and equipment. Our team supports design development with technical input to achieve both aesthetic intent and performance efficiency.

Dialux Simulation

Every space deserves the right light.

Through advanced Dialux simulations, we carefully study and refine the quantity, size, and placement of Solarspot® system to achieve balanced, comfortable daylighting. In collaboraƟon with our engineering partners in Italy, we ensure each design delivers both performance and elegance.

Solarspot® is engineered to deliver natural daylight while significantly reducing heat transfer into interior spaces compared to tradiƟonal skylight systems with large glazed areas.
